American Shave Classic Barber Receives 2011 Best of Union Award

U.S. Commerce Association’s Award Plaque Honors the Achievement

NEW YORK, NY, December 14, 2011 -- American Shave Classic Barber has been selected for the 2011 Best of Union Award in the Barbers category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).

The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category. These are local companies that enhance the positive image of small business through service to their customers and community.

Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2011 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties.

Tired of waiting in line to get your “free” cigars at other events? At the NJ Cigar Festival, we give ‘em to you when you walk through the gates, which means that the rest of the day belongs to you.

You can meet the makers of your favorite sticks at the manufacturers’ booths and learn more about their cigars straight from the source. In fact, some of the manufacturers will be holding open seminars throughout the day. (Presenters and times TBD.)

If you want to purchase cigars, you can do that, too – and at prices lower than those in PA! Just want to sit and have a smoke? No problem. Smoking is allowed in all areas of the festival. And “ball park fare” is included in the cost of your ticket.

A timeline of the day’s presentations will be published in the New Year, and we’ll be posting new info. regularly to this site, including any updates on the Cigar All*Stars that will be attending.

American Shave will be present to shave all guests using a hot lather shave and a straight edge. All shaves will be done on a first come first serve basis and will be included with your ticket purchase. Shave will only be done within the festivals time frame.
